Malik’s Mobile Library — Books Without Borders

Malik, a former youth counselor, noticed that kids in underserved neighborhoods lacked access to books and learning resources. Using an old van and a big dream, he created the Rolling Reads Mobile Library — a traveling hub filled with children’s books, learning kits, and mentorship. Every weekend, Malik drives through different Philly neighborhoods, handing out books, organizing reading circles, and helping kids sign up for library cards. His mission? To spark curiosity and confidence, one page at a time. “When a kid opens a book, they open a world.”
